  • There is plenty of info on Cuba in the US. Is there ANY information in CUBA about the rest of the world and the past 50 years?

Do Cubans still have no ACCESS to INTERNET?

  • @NEWYORKLIBRE actualy I find the info in the US on Cuba is very poor quality - and yes, despite the limited satellite internet links, more than 2 million Cubans have email - but full internet bandwith often costs money - the cable landed in eastern Cuba from Venezeula earlier this year will substantially expand the available bandwidth. Cubans in general are very well informed about the world, and they certainly seem to know more about the US than vice versa

  • for more information, look up the site 'MEDICC'

  • Many of these students found out about this scholarship scheme through NPR, then contacted Pastors for Peace for the application process. A nice foreign aid program by Cuba for the US, and approved by the Bush administration! Of course, Washington's 'transition plan' for Cuba, with all its privatisation, would put an end to this 'communist' free education.

  • Cuba's existence in the back yard of the Western Hemisphere is a blessing for the African American and the Latino society.

  • Wow, thanks for sharing the videos. This gives me a better perspective of medical students in what they experience in medical school and how they do during the four years.

  • @MYuTUBElanguagesPage - yes that's right, they ask for under-30s - there might be exceptions, best to ask Pastors for Peace [IFCO], they are the ones that recruit students in the US

  • great video well done
