Thank you for the video! An uncle went to USA and gave me this same hardware as gift, but the thing sounds like a blender+chain aw when plugged and windows see it but cannot use it. None recover tool works with it.

I cannot return the HD to warranty since my uncle didn't give me the package or documents, as well send anything to USA is very expensive. :/ So it's up to me if I can replace the HD by itself. So your video is a good start! :)

I am having technical difficulties with the product itself, the last time i used it was last year.
I plugged in the wires that were required, but the light does not even come on?
Nor does it appear on my computer? ANY HELP GUYS?

Guys, I was quoted over $700 to get my hard drive recovered from best buy..Acording to "Geek Squad" it was a level 2 problem such as the I/O device error..No windows pc's would even recognize the drive...The solution for recovering all that information from the drive was simple..Just got a sata to usb adapter and hooked it up to a macbook...problem solved...all of it pulled right up..the pc's with the sata connection would not work...but the mac did...
