  • Question, I have yet to even gander at P90X1 yet, if I haven't done 1 should I do that before I even attempt 2?

  • @KkahluaHero You can jump right into P90X2. It will be a challenge, but it is doable. It's really up to you! Hope that helps.

  • @ericdeben nah, I'm not in really good shape to be honest, I still have a belly but gaining muscle in weight training, I am losing weight and gaining muscle, but I am yet strong enough to lift my own body weight, I can't do a pull up just yet, but I'm working hard to get there, I figure once I have lost most of my body fat and have gained more muscle in weight training, I should move to P90X

  • @KkahluaHero Do 1 first, it shouldn't be too different. It's just a little simpler is my guess (I haven't tried 2 yet, but it looks about the same, just maybe a little harder). If it's too easy after 30 days, finish with 60 days of p90x2.

    That's just my advice. If you're already in shape, go ahead and push yourself through 2.

  • @KkahluaHero I started phase 2 of p90x yesterday and I gotta say it is AWESOME. I'm getting faster results than I have with regular lifting because this forces me to push myself even when I don't think I can do more.

    I think I'll get p90x2 when I'm done and maybe add some extra running (10-15 miles a week) to train for cross country in the fall.

  • @ericdeben you should probably do P90X2, Insanity seems to be more of a weight loss type of workouts compared to P90X which seems to be more muscle, I'm currently doing Insanity so I can lose body fat but at the same time getting stronger in Weight Training at my school once I am happy with my belly, I'm moving to P90X!
