Here's a small treat for you, this was the game I hinted at in my Castlevania: Circle of the Moon soundtrack video as well as this game's soundtrack. About this video.

At the Ragmeila battle I accidentally hit Telias a couple of times, the first time was a mishap on my part, but the second was because the "Bippo is confused." message, when disposed of pressing the A button almost instantly reacts to your actions afterwards (AKA if you hold A after the message has disappeared it will attack), which is what happened.

Also Ragmeila was whoring out his AuldCure like no freaking tomorrow, probably woulda done it in 20 minutes without his stupid-ass antics.

I also had to re-record the ending (hence the HP & MP changes) because the rendering was atrocious, this is why I don't do longer videos on my computer, but I did this one anyways because I'm stupid. Anyway thanks to Vegas I got the ending fit the rest of the video pretty well (you really see it only in the full 22 min video). Had I tried to do this on WMM I woulda been at it for at least an hour.

The worst thing about the fucked up rendering of the ending was that I actually rendered the full video as a WMV before watching the whole thing and the rendering process took slightly under two hours, something around 1h 57min (and it compresses into a surprisingly low video size, from 980 MB to 158 MB).

That reminds me I already recorded a video of this, this is the second take because after recording the whole video, SnagIt rendering it into an AVI (which, for whatever reason, needs to copy the file instead of move it) and the thing was 1 GB roughly, back then I had 1,4 GB left so I naturally ran out of HD space and SnagIt decided to delete the whole video because of that. I guess it's double or nothing! Ha! Ha! Ha!

That pissed me off because in that video I took care of the Lizardmen much faster and with less damage dealt to Bippo, also Ragmeila wasn't being a complete dick, he was spamming Meltdown instead of whoring AuldCure. I think that video would've been 20ish minutes so I could've split it into two YT videos instead. Of course for all I know the rendering could've been godawful.

I totally raped that Gargoyle in both videos though. The ColdBeam almost never works this well on enemies, they usually break out of it instantly if affected by it, but oddly enough it worked on the Gargoyle.

  • How do you finish the "village of the evil god" scenario? I found the passage underneath the floor panel and solved the flask puzzle, but I can't figure out how to open the door leading to the dragon since it just says something about being quiet or the walls being thin there. Or if I'm supposed to be able to read the ancient text on the walls.

  • @mrcrispy83 I honestly don't remember anymore. It was a tricky part but I don't remember how to solve it.

  • BTW, I detailed how to do the whole dungeon in the comments thread here: (I guess I can't comment with a link? the video ID is v=o4iF2KmOMzw) It might be of some use to you if you're still interested in this game.

  • @mrcrispy83 I just finished this last night. To get to the dragon, you need to inspect the bottom of the wall to the right of the lift; it will open up, and you'll be able to advance towards the right, and ascend a stairway into the dragon's room. There's actually a good deal to do still after that.

I never did figure out what the "thin wall" thing was, btw!
