I like Joe Mesi because he was tough and packed a wollup but he was never more than a middle of the road fighter. He did beat a okay Monte Barrett but Barrett was in the same boat with Joe......middle of the road. He wouldv'e never beat any of the champs in his day. And for the record, the only reason he stopped fighting was because the Boxing Commission made him stop because of a tumor.
