Voyager Enters "Magnetic Highway"

NASA video animation depicting the unmanned Voyager 1 spacecraft entering a new region at the outer edge of the Solar System dubbed the "magnetic highway," where low-energy particles (pink) from the Sun begin to disappear into deep space and high-energy particles from galactic cosmic rays (blue) begin to stream in.
