Learning Braille

There are different types of braille and endless possibilities for its use. Learning to use braille empowers blind and visually impaired individuals to read and write, making it possible to play cards, take notes, and keep records.

The Nebraska Center for the Blind has created "Pathways to Independence ©," a video training series that teaches skills used by blind and visually impaired individuals.
