A 4-minute (or thereabouts) circuit of the S&CGR, in the company of a Corpet-Louvet on 'light goods' duty...

  • Nice video personally a bit of sound would have made it perfect. How did you get the shots from the 'drivers' eye view?

  • Thanks, I kept the sound down for continuity reasons, plus being an electrically-powered loco with no sound card, the sounds are pretty nondescript anyways. The driver's eye view was simple, just pushing a low wagon in front with the camera on board.

  • I truly enjoyed that. It gave me a great idea. I must take my son (who is now 6) on an old train ride up into the mountains.

    Good work.

  • Thanks Mr Stonewulff! Hope you and your lad enjoy the train ride...

  • haha, I just love it when you see a cliff and make a tight curve or go traveling through the bushes because it reminds me of the Canadian Railway and the White Pass & Yukon Rout Railway.

  • Thanks for that, I thought you had put a low wagon in front of the engine but was unsure whether the camera would over hang the guage!!

  • Please make more videos.

  • nice shots , great loco, cracking railway!
