meh, west coast was decent back in the day, but they nvr had the lyrical skills that east coast MCs had. U think back on cats like Big L, Boot Camp Clik, Blackmoon, Mos Def, Biggie, Jeru the Damaja, Wutang and Gangstarr who cant even be compared to west coast shit. Totally different substance. I think the west coast was great for party/house jam tracks, but i personally nvr got into it too much.
