oh my god you poor soul :(
I think mine is dislocated for over a month. not feel pain or anything but my humerus sticks out in the back.

@dTlolTb You can't just push it back into place due to bony structures that may get in the way, you may cause more damage. It helps to pull the arm (distraction) so that it may allow the muscles, which are probably going to be in spasm so that they guard the joint, to relax. Hope this helps!

I can dislocate my shoulder when ever i want and i can lick my elbow because of it :P

you will hurt your cartilage around the shoulder if you just push it in. because the bone is actually in front of the clavicle area

No not at all. Dislocating the shoulder is when the ball in the rotator cuff pops out and then the arm tightens disallowing the ball to go back. So pulling the arm would make room for the ball to go back in basically.

holly crap that was a helluva pop

How come pulling the shoulder helps relocate it? Would pushing it back in work o.O

Ugh, I have a video about reducing shoulders and have gone through the process about...10 times and 2 surgeries, and the sound of it going out and back in is still ugly.
Ah man, I had the same feeling, I didnt know crap about shoulders. But I fell on the top of my shoulder on my mountain bike 10 days ago now, and got a type 3 AC Ligament tear. Its starting to feel way better now. How'd you fall?

I was going off a drop when my front wheel slipped out just as I was leaving the lip, i hit a tree, my shoulder took the full impact. As for injuries I dislocated my shoulder, dislocated my sternoclavicular joint (SC joint) and tore my AC joint and fracture the head of the humerous in that one crash. Hurt pretty bad!
