It was a would-be scene where the Doctor references the events of the TV movie and explains why he called himself human... People have been waiting for an explanation on-screen for years and years, but they dedicded to remove it!

And a deleted scene is an scene not seen in the main episode itself, but an extra scene of the episode.

i actually think it really DID need the scene with him getting up and recovering because I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED... poor.

@227060 It was never filmed. I think I should have worded it better: un-filmed scene. I think I recall Davies mentioning it in a book of his time on the series that he released at the end of his era. I think it was called The Writer's Tale or something.
