You would not believe how long I've waited to see this again!! Nobody of my age group or older could remember it. Sure there was a cat who sang Tom Jones and a big bird who sang Lulu too. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

@tapetrix Your recollections of the cat singing Tom Jones and the bird doing Lulu are ringing some distant bells with me too. I will be trying to get my hands on further episodes, so please keep dropping by every now and then.
I also seem to remember a show introduced by Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart in the early 70's which featured puppet versions of current pop stars (Donny Osmond, Gary Glitter, etc) performing their latest hits. It looked a bit like a cross between Thunderbirds & Top of The Pops!
