If anyone thinks that this is the normal life for a Korean family, you need to get your head checked. In the middle of rush hour there were 3 people coming out of 2 high-rise entrances. There were about 5 cars on the road. The subway was pretty much barren. The kids were dressed in what seemed to be their best clothing (some of the girls seemed to wear a hanbok, which is a garment normally worn for celebration.

This "documentary" was staged. Please don't think this is how the majority lives.

It's almost unfathomable to think of living your entire life, trained to fear and loathe an entire group of people like the North Koreans do the Americans. Imagine if everyone in the US sang songs about destroying NK on a daily basis. And all public school history lessons in the US taught children about the evil North Koreans and their barbaric ways. And us stamps depicted American rockets destroying Pyongyang. Because that all happens in NK.

In the end of this you can tell that it's mainly a front, they are just saying and doing that in front of the Camera to make it look like they are a productive and caring society.

Because first and foremost, everyone is "writing" down the plans they already know about? That makes no sense. And second she is saying that she "vows" to do this and that, sounds pretty odd to me? Who "vows" to Government things? It's normally done and spoken about in an entirely different matter.

@TheSonyPSVite Actually 99% of the country are taught to HATE Americans and other countries for their way of living and for them not bowing down to their great leader.

Ask any North Korean what they think of Japan or America and they will immediately respond with hate.

So who do you blame here? The people for thinking like this and following this on their own willful actions or the people who impose it? I say BOTH.

however many times i hear north koreans speak, as a south korean, they sound REAAALLLLY weird. they sound like those 50s films that they used to make back then... but like weirder. They talk as if they are in a folk story, and they're narrating their lives... kinda dramatic and weird just.. plain weird. lolol They're really stuck in time aren't they. It's pretty sad..
