Now i know a lot of you know about DOF adapters but for all of you that don't and want to get a good grasp about what they are and what they do this is a great tutorial on just that. Now there are a few different types of dof adapters out there. There is the Letus series which is my personal faveorite. Then we have the redrock adapters, and then there are the Jag 35 series adapters. All of these have an amazing look and get the job done. I will post links to these sites directly on the bottom here. Now ion order for these adapters to work properly you are going to need to mount your DOF adapter to the front of your camera. Now what you are going to want to do is zoom your camera into the ground glass to where the picture fills your LCD monitor. Then focus in on the Ground glass to where the image is clear. This will allow you to adjust your lens on your DOF adapter freely to get the Image you want.

  • I'm using a Modo-U that I just got and I have know idea how to use it. Are you familiar with this adapter?

  • Why not just stop the camera down to it's lowest #? Ex: 1.8 so no DOF adapter needed?
