  • install the extentions and shut up everyone......and it's stable i've been running it on 11.10 and now 12.04 Alpha 2...i don't even wanna look at unity anymore....>.> but unity will be great for an smartphone OS and it's working VERY well for a TV UI for smartTVs..

  • @kyuubiflame Ok

  • What font are you using in your Firefox there at the beginning?

  • @sjkreid3D Don't remember.

  • I think when Linux Mint's MATE develops more, it'll be the best thing ever.

  • @foxdoboj noob

  • @GioGziro95 Ubuntu is the only distro I've seriously used for a couple years. I prefer it to OSX and Windows. For me, KDE seems disorganized. And Unity hasn't been particularly buggy since it debuted with 11.04. I was pretty sharply critical of Unity at first, but I've generally liked the implementation in 11.10 and the steps the Unity team has taken since its debut have shown me they're heading in the direction of stability and customisability, which makes me confident in its future.

  • @GioGziro95 dpkg is a package manager which is hundreds of times better than rpm (dependens, recommends, suggests, actually working and SANE script running order on all operations, especally upgrade, working triggers, flat file database, not bdb etc.). Also, the package management is done via apt or aptitude which, compared to the rpm hell, is like comparing a Hollywood beauty studio with a guy using a stone hammer to comb his hair.

  • @pashanoid

In think u can choose in nearly every distribution available

  • @tostoday Well, not the BEST THING EVER, but I think it'll be nice anyway.
