BROWN WHORNET - 'Inbred' live at Emo's (9/8/00)

Austin's Brown Whornet performs "Inbred." This version is one of the simplist I'd heard. The song is very short and seems to be missing some lyrical versus, like the one mentioning "at the family reunion we get to hold the new baby", or somethng like that. Anyway, it gets the song idea across. The highlight of this song is when the band all stop the music and break down into animal-like characteristics and flop and flutter around the stage as if they'd turned into barnyard animals. Pretty nutty performance art. Brown Whornet have some much better versions of this song that have been taped. Maybe I'll look into my archives and find one. Until then this one will have to do....

This show was taped on 9/8/00 and Brown Whornet shared the bill with Pong and Three Day Stubble. Quite a wild show, to say the least! Did I mention the wildest act of freaks I've ever seen, Three Day Stubble? Oh, yeah I did...
