As Chef Jason Hill waits for his burnt home to be rebuilt, he checks out The Hat, known for the best pastrami in Los Angeles. In this Hat Pastrami review, Chef Jason gives the restaurant two thumbs up.

Thanks for being patient! Many more cooking videos are on the way. In the meantime, enjoy some of our old favorites at htttp://www.CookingSessions.com

  • The Hat,In and Out,and Tommys Chile Burgers and Chile fries that's the real reason people love Calif. Screw TV and Movies stars.

  • @DBSpy1

    Ok! You Win!

  • I would need about 4 Pepcid and 12 Tums to eat one of those now, but I do love them!

  • @steve51704000 Haha!

  • I love this place. I grew up in Arcadia for 22 years until I moved to Boston, Ma and this is one of two places that I miss. The other one being In-n-out. Every April when I take my 3 week vacation to Southern California. I go to the hat atleast twice when I am out there while I have In-n-out about a dozen times. Would love to have a pastrami from the hat right about now.

  • @eaglefan9727 It's good stuff! Thanks for commenting. In-N-Out is the best!

  • Definitely the best around in LA. Some people complain that $7 is too expensive for a pastrami - go to Langer's and pay $13 plus a filthy crappy neighborhood and then there is Johnnies which is not bad but on the other side of town and more $ than the Hat. I do remember when a pastrami at the Hat was $3.59.

  • @FelixFelisis

    Quality has his price ;)

  • I haven't been to The Hat in years just because it's so EXPENSIVE! But definitely the best pastrami ever.

  • I wish they open one anywhere in the Bay Area. The sandwich is like porn for my taste buds.
