Interview in ENGLISH; Subtitles in SWEDISH.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, born 13 November 1969 in Mogadishu, Somalia, is a Dutch intellectual, feminist activist, author, and politician.

She is widely known as a fierce critic of Islam, and she is especially critical of the position of women in Islamic societies, and the punishments demanded by Islamic scholars for homosexuality and adultery.

Her screenplay for Theo Van Gogh's movie Submission led to death threats against her, and to the assassination of Van Gogh by a muslim extremist in 2004. Since then, she has lived in seclusion under the protection of the Dutch authorities.

Here she is interviewed by Anders Hellner for Axess TV in Sweden. The interview is from 2006.

  • @algeriealgerienne So you admit that women are considered eternal children and have to have someone who is responsible for her and protect her all her life. How condescending!

I am responsible for MYSELF. I protect MYSELF. I don't want to be dependent upon a man for my food, shelter, clothing and health. What you say seems kind on the surface, but dig just a little and you see that it makes women perpetual minors.

I will never NEED a man. My man is with me from desire, NEVER necessity.

  • @TheOnlyCoolestGuy111 Do you even KNOW what Brehon law was?

I know more about Islam than you know about the Celts.

Oh, and I can also tell female names from male ones. Since you can't tell women from men, I'll help you out. I'm a woman.

And you're a typical, angry, sputtering, name-calling Muslim who, instead of actually defending the atrocious teachings of his faith, resorts to strawman to defend his weak, ineffectual, unproven deity.

    That's just darling.

  • Allahu Akbar! Allah shall prevail!

  • @TheOnlyCoolestGuy111 Muslim women are oppressed and they aren't free to do as they wish.

Anyone who will give up freedom for security deserves neither.

I would much rather have the freedom to live, work, dress and fuck as I choose than to be "protected" from the world and at the whim of my protector. It's a poor protection indeed to hide them from the world so you can abuse them yourself.

  • @ciaochowbella i am moslem... and moslem women are protected ! they arent like what u thinkin ! and off course i know Islam more than u... want me to call u stupid arrogant woman ?

  • @ciaochowbella What brehon Law women equal to the man ? u stupid son of bitch... if u dont know nothing about islam then dont think ur smart !!!!

  • @RealMuslimBread lol first i thought youre trying to be ironic but after checking your channel im convinced you are serious and arent trolling lol...thanx for that.

  • @ciaochowbella It says the same thing in the bible. Religion sucks

  • I suspect Ayaan Hersi has killed Theo Van.

Wake up criminal investigators. The writing are all over walls. As she lied about her birth place, education, arranged married she is lying no too. To hide her crime she turn out to be this beast lying about Islam.

  • @BelfastAtheist LOL! Brilliant reference to "The Divine Comedy".

The reason Muslims don't get upset about it is that Dante is too dead to fuck with properly. You can't blow up a dead guy.
