I want to upscale video from my laptop How do I do that?.
I have HDMI output from my laptop.
-
You should not be able to have Component Video and HDMI active at the same time.
-
CI = Custom Integration and sometimes as Custom installation.
-
Be careful as you likely are running a 4ohm load on the receivers and most receivers are rated for 6-8 ohm loads.

i have a 2.0 stereo receiver with five speakers and subwoofer. what i did was i piggy-backed the two left speakers in the FL output and the two right speakers in the FR output, which gives me the surround effects. then i plugged the center speaker in, and now i get dialogue out of center speaker, surround effects left and right through the two left and right speakers, and bass through the subwoofer. almost like a 5.1 set up, but it's still in 2.0 stereo sound, but hey it sounds great, i'm happy!

were you having an earthquake at the end?

what does the ci stand for?
-
can you have component and hdmi output at same time
As a CI and dedicated Denon dealer I would be interested to know if you are a Denon Authorized Dealer since you are selling the CI line retail. If you are not then your clients need to know they have zero warranty. I will be checking on this with Denon in the morning.

@jmadden805 HI, I just noticed this comment and I had to reply. Yes we are authorized for many D&M holdiongs brands including Boston Acoustics as well. Check Denon's website. Denon does still warranty grey market goods BTW. Their warranties are insured by a 3rd party and becuase that is part of what a consumer pays for as an authentic Denon prodcut they by law have to warranty the product. Sucks for both of us!
