@Mezzotenor I hadn't thought of that, but Smallwood's style is certainly quite classically-grounded. If you like Schubertian music, you might be interested in a video I did the other day of a piece by Alexander Czersky, which has a real Schubert feel (to me).

this was one of billy the kids favorite songs along with "turkey in the straw" before it became an awful ice cream selling no good song. i dont think he was whistling either one before killing anyone though. lol!
