From the fmartinjr classic fire audio files.some of my shots that i merged together with the movie maker and added a new castle county,delaware fire audio from 1986 or 1987. i dedicate this clip to r2brookyln-fanoseagrave-and siren1000t.save the siren and keep it classic.audio of fireboard,ladder 21,21-2,16 units,14,23 fall 1986.Elsmere,mill creek.fire siren conformation tones.Going to Conrad Middle the 86-87 school year.There weren't any gay Blue lights on these rigs, yet.Classic hip boots!

Frank -- love the pics, but few of us ever thought to record audio clips from back in the day. Thanks for keeping such a memorable archive. First thing that hit me was the "confirmation" tones that allowed fireboard to determine if a station's siren had activated. WOW! And listen how quickly the companies are on the street. Also remember that when a Ladder Company was dispatched from Mill Creek, you'd get 21-7 and 21-2. Great stuff!

@FilmLou Everyday for 3 school years,I couldn't get school work completed because...when siren went off,I paused to listen to the climb,fall, and peaks of the Mill Creek fire siren, on fire cycle.And then waited to listen for the rigs to follow.

Just to note:The federal "Q" sirens blasting in this stillshot clip is of Wilmington,Delaware Fire Department's Engine 4 and Ladder 4 from the 1980's.And an Elsmere building fire during fall of 1986.

at 0:57 the front of the truck dose not look right for a pumper more of a rescue truck look and a 1:05 that brush truck screams redneck and at 2:14 the lightbar is so retarted the clear red and white are point less

At :57,there were so many of these type macks on the eastcoast it was like normal.Even for pumpers.And at 1:05 this company had nothing but alot of farmland in there district,and I don't see whats retarded with a code3 4alarm,clear domes,red & clear rotators?That makes sense to me.Get back to me on that lig

I gotta say I love the Segraves and The Hanh's AKA the Chickens we still have a Hahn it's a 1983 Hahn pumper And she will out pump anything we have in the firehouse.
