Jokes aside we cant hide from the problem that many immigrants dont respect Australian culture and institutions, they are happy to congregate in various suburbs and effectively ruin those areas, the idea of bringing immigrants into the country is to add value and dont get me wrong in the way of culture and skills etc many have done this but people seem too happy to ignore the issues.

i get what you're saying but it's like a soft form of segregation created by an undertow of fear, distrust, etc. of the new arrivals. i dunno if you can stop it, not saying its right or wrong, but then you have enclaves of different cultural groups that don't mingle and blend that grow up never going to school with the people they'll have to connect with once they start working and functioning in society.

@nebeshima it's called "english" - it's not an OFFICIAL language but that's what we speak. when i go to quebec, i attempt french, which they appreciate. we'd like it if illegals would attempt to speak OUR language instead of making us try to bend to theirs.
