World Juniors: Canada vs. Russia highlights

January 3, 2009 - Team Canada made an unbelievable comeback to edge Russia 6-5 in the semi-final game at the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship in Ottawa, Ontario.

i just couldnt stop jumping after eberle score in the last 5 seconds...even before he scored i was already face down on the couch watching the game thinking it was all over until i hear a goal and then i started acting like an animal lol

There are more Canadian players than American players in the NHL despite there being only six Canadian teams, so obviously there are going to be tons of Canadians on the American NHL teams as well, and vice-versa. It's not really a case of Americans vs. Canadians there.

How is it biased when you're from the States? Or are you just pro-Russia/anti-Canada? Either way, Russians usually are great skaters, but I'll take a team of winners over a team of great skaters any day.

On a side note, it's CanadiAns. The Canadiens are a team in Montreal.

@onegreatamerican pfffffft. Yea and america is so great? Your country bankrupts its people over papercuts. Canada is the most liked country in the world. Just because we have a tad of socialism in our system doesnt mean we are ignorant and backwards. Its called helping eachother. FYI, I'd love to have a valid discussion with someone about this, but all I've read thus far are blind, biased insults, and troll-type posts from U.S. users. So, I'm just going to delete this discussion.
