Au Revoir (J'attendrai)

"Au Revoir (J'attendrai)" is a lovely song from the 1930s written by Italian composer Dino Olivieri and sung by many people in French and other languages. A well-known French version by Italian-born Rina Ketty, who lived in Paris in the 1930s, was featured in the film "Das Boot", and Jean Sablon has also recorded an excellent version.

I'm playing it here in the written key of C on tenor guitar with guitar backing. I play the introductory verse and then three choruses of the main theme. Dedicated with best wishes to Micca, who enjoyed "Boum" and "La Mer" and suggested I record this one.
