http://www.woodworkweb.com/woodwork-topics/general-woodworking/293-selecting-... : Knowing what to look for when purchasing saw blades for your table saw, sliding mitre, chop saw or radial arm saw will help every woodworker make wiser choices. When you understand what to look for you can make decisions on what blade to select and for what purpose
Freud blades are ok,however if those slots which are also on the middle of the plate has well if the blade gets bent isn't near impossible to get the blade straight. Most steel blades also have tensioning rings in them which help your sharpening vendor hammer/tension the blades true, those Freud do not and those thin kerf blades will bend easier than standard blades esp.when ripping.

@JeffJ1974 Pretty much any blade that is bent can never be straightened properly. They are scrap metal, and in many cases even dangerous to use because the carbide in some of the teeth may be compromised. There is less chance of Freud blades getting bent, even the thin kerf because they use a harder German steel than any of the stamped blades. Tensioning rings are visible in all Freud blades. Any sharpener who is hammering saw blades should not be used, they are creating problems.
