The world today is a frightening place with terror threats and economic recessions causing distress for many. Dr. Ken Lindow reveals what the Apostle Peter says about how we should live in an uncertain world.
What the saved have:
Matthew 11:29,30 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him [Jesus]; for he careth for you.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world [Rome] giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Luke 19:9,10 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Ironically, it is our God, the creator of the universe who has laid the foundation for critical thinking, basic reasoning, logic, comparative religious studies and science.
Absolute Morality, the Laws of Logic and Uniformity in Nature are all parts of God's creation. Without these essential preconditions, nothing on your list could exist. The Bible teaches that God is the 'creator of all things' (Gen 1:1, John 1:3). He accounts for their existence in His word. Atheism doesn't.
