@chaos92z No. If any manufacturer did that without some verifiable technical reason, people would start taking their business elsewhere. Most RAM upgrades on computers are usually the simplest upgrade one can do.
Having said that, imo, if you had an issue with the computer where hardware could be the culprit, and I was the tech rep, one of the first things I would ask you to do is to take out all NON original hardware components, before proceeding with hardware repair warranty service options.
