FYI, El84 valves are actually 9 pin. Most other power valves (6V6,EL34, 6L6, KT88) are octal, or have 8 pins.

They definitely sound different but I think the big thing is how they FEEL different? 6L6s feel a lot different to EL34s (the only two I ave been able to compare).

What about these two Chappers, do they feel different or not?
