旗が上がった後の1:50 のあれは非常に不適切、かつ無礼な行為だ。

It was very inappropriate and rude to hit like that at 1:50 after the judge's call.

I think the striking in 1:50 is not intentional. It is inappropriate definitely, but it looks by accident.

@6shige9 Yes I understand what you are meaning and I agree with it but I still think it is not a big deal.

@6shige9 After watching it again, I think Park sabum didn't do anything wrong. You're supposed to keep fighting until the judge calls the point. Park sabum probably didn't hear the call or was confused if it were a point or not. And he also seemed apologetic about it afterward, too.

Anyways, loving Funatsu sensei's kendo.

@leperenoel666 剣道において礼儀は基本ですよ。どれだけ親しいかは関係ありませ­ん。諺ではそれを「親しき仲にも礼儀あり」と言います。特にこの­ような正式な試合では思慮分別、慎重さが必要なのではないでしょ­うか。

etiquette is fundamental in kendo. It doesn't matter how close they might be. There's a reason people say that there's etiquette in even the closest friendship. Especially, discretion would be necessary at such kind of official contests.

For me Funatsu and Park are like two "friends" who know each other this is why I think the 1:50 hit was'nt a big deal.

By the way Funatsu always loose his shinai in front of Park XD
