...(cont.). there's no doubt the two play a similar style but it's a great style, there's lots of people who play it,& I hope that continues.I think Lauren Zettler is original and unique,she obviously is passionate about what she does & her music comes from the heart.The best musicians don't worry about being a certain style or not.Lauren shouldn't have to change her style or stop playing the music she's passionate about just because there are few similarities.Keep it up lauren! people......

Lauren Zettler & Ingrid Michaelson are both extremely talented but just because they play a similar style of music doesn't mean Lauren "totally stole Ingrid Michaelson's whole style".And it's pretty ridiculous to use the fact that lauren wears glasses as a reason that she's copying Ingrid,she can't help that she needs glasses.And in response to FiishStudios,no offense to Ingrid but she didn't invent indie. And Lauren has "strong female vocals" because she's a female,how is that copying ingrid?..

I was NOT making a generalization. She has the physical appearance of Ingrid (glasses and all in some videos), and she plays in a style very similar to Ingrid. She ofter uses some of the same phrases, in her lyrics. She's very good, but she doesn't seem as unique as she could be. I'd like to see more Lauren.
