I met harry at JCC in Watertown, NY in the 70's. He was every bit as humble as you see him in his videos. He was the nicest performer I have ever met. He actually called me by name, and thruought the evening he always had a smile for me. When his concert was finished, I helped him pick up the equipment. We ordered a pizza and he sat with us....just one of the guys, laughing, joking, and making us feel special. Sorry to say there has never been anyone like Harry since. I really miss him.

@MW277j I remember listening to a little white sony transistor radio when they announced that Chapin had passed away. It was so very sad.

I had a ticket to finally see Harry in concert. My ticket was for August '81. Harry left us a month earlier. Thanks for posting one of my favorite of Harry's. That ticket went unused and was never turned in for a refund it was better that way. Miss you Harry !

@MW277j My dad had a Caste of Harry's Greatest hits this one was on it and that Caste broke many years ago but ever since ive been looking for this song- i finally found it and had to share it with the rest fo the world. Glad to see people still love Chaipn.
