James Connolly was my Grandfather's third cousin. My Grandfather and his oldest brother spent a year in Kilmanham Prison.

I first heard The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem at Gurdes Folk City in NYC in the early 1960s. They really made that little club rock with their Irish songs. But eventually they chose other venues. They didn't like the rather primitive sound system in that little club on Fourth Street.

@UnidosHermanos , the 2 flags were raised on the GPO corners by bulfin , the south corner was the green irish republic flag , the north corner was the tricolour , both corners were on sackville st , they didn't fly the starry plough , remember , easter monday was the day when the all republicans united , and without unity easter monday would never have happened , so now again today we need to unite ALL REPUBLICANS , learn from our past ,PLEASE ,T A L
