Streisand's 3rd live concert album, recorded Sept. 6, 1986, on her former ranch in Malibu, California as Democratic senatorial fundraiser and subsequently the roots of The Streisand Foundation. All rights to Barbra's performances on this disc are owned by The Streisand Foundation, which has utilized the proceeds to support qualified charitable organizations committed to anti-nuclear activities and the preservation of our environment, civil liberties, and human rights.
# Televised as Barbra's 2nd HBO special, December 27, 1986, and released on home video simultaneously with the album.

I read that Barbra Streisand never vocalise or warm up her voice before she sings. So, it's amazing her first song is "Somewhere" - one of the hardest songs to sing! She pulled it off so effortlessly - hit all the high notes!

at 2:54 they show the invitation tape that Barbra sent to 500 celeberties. i'm still trying to get a hold of one but it is impossible to find

@freshair345 LOL, I can certainly understand that happening! Barbra Streisand is one of thee Best (if not the actual Best) singers this country has ever produced, hands down, & I love all kinds of music!! Even today, I can think of no-one out there (even with her aging) that can touch her purely in the category of voice. :-)
