Elmo soooooo schooled Yo Yo Ma! lol!
-
HAHA elmo wrong arm and that a bad d scale hahaha
-
I am pretty sure the bow is upside down too...
-
haha BIIIIIG FIDDLE!
-
Its because the puppeteer was right handed so their right arm is controlling Elmo's head and their left arm is controlling the bow. If you didn't notice whenever any Muppet plays a string instrument, they play it left handed. Look at Electric Mayhem, Floyd and Janice play left handed.

Was a little too old to watch this bit when it was first aired... How is it, then, that I laugh at it now, genuinely, at age 33? Classic stuff.

Elmo has the Violin on the wrong shoulder.....is Elmo a Leftie? Perhaps this is a FUTURISTIC LEFTIE VIOLIN. YES.....of course!!!!...Sesame St. was WAY ahead of it's time!!! Great performance by YoYo and to Parents of young children learning the violin, this is why you buy a silencer Mute and have a soundproof room for their practice, during the "scratchy beginner period". :)
