Thankyou Donna, for making this video with my portrait of Dan, with his rendition of Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock". I like your effects at key moments of the song! He's such a true friend, who gave us inspiration! We can keep his songs in our hearts, forever!
@pfrick57 It is a great video, isn't it? Donna did an excellent job indeed! The Basement Tapes are Soooo Very, Very! Special~ this one made even better with her video. Getting ready to watch it for the 3rd time since just now finding it; but will return over over again in My Favorites.
Donna, thanks so much for this~what a gift! Love hearing our Dan singing at such a young age; love the picture you chose, along with the Flower Power era. Indeed, a True Treasure!
Wow! Talk about going back in time w/Dan..I "grew up" w/him age-wise/thought-wise/music-wise, etc. I remember him in the 1970's talking about "Yeah, I heard his old lady's gonna have a kid" (NOT Verbatim) to growing into a man, leaving behind "his old lady", "chick", etc. language into a so well-spoken, eloquent man, who believed in old fashioned values such as love, etc, Talk about going back in time with this! Such a young Dan voice w/his pure high falsetto. Thank you for this True Treasure!
I just love this video - fantastic job Donna! Thank you for sharing. I've listened to the Basement Tapes so many times - but I just want to watch your video over and over again! Sounds like another Dan song.
@johhnygeri4evah Wrong Wrong Wrong ! Those who forget their history are bound to repeat it......(if only we COULD !)

Thank you so much for this treasure. When material surfaces of Danny's it lifts ones soul.

This is great but the date is wrong. Woodstock was written by Joni Mitchell in 1969 thus it would impossible that Dan would sing it in 1968.
