you can make a difference even without shopping or driving green, or even spending a single penny. Force politicians to take a position for or against nuclear power, then vote for those against regardless of any of their other positions on anything else. Then at least within democracies we'll have an end to the nuclear age. They claim we need the energy for economic reasons, but we've only had this energy since the 70s basically.
