  • @kissmyass1980 water press. is for every foot of vertical "head" there is .434 psi.10 ft. head =4.34 psi.to install a ram u need;a holding tank or similar vessel that has a continuous water level at least 1 foot above the outlet[the drive pipe]the drive pipe must be 5 times longer than the vertical height [head] from pump to water vessel.2 m. head=10 m. same.

  • you get .46psi for 1ft drop so ther is sum pressure in the delivery line

  • No you don't. The water needs to be flowing, but doesn't need pressure.

  • Interesting. It almost seems like you're getting energy from nothing but of course you have to have pressure in the delivery line.
