  • Neat concept as long as you're sitting direclty on top of good quality (undisturbed) soil, I suppose engineered&compacted fill would be ok too...but in that case I think helical piering would be the best solution...

  • like the clip. check out my home energy stuff using Rooftop Wind Turbines and solar panels on my roof. I just won a Green Design Contest with my product on EarthDay. Friends and Subscribers Welcome.

    Thanks, Sam

  • thats awesomely clever

  • @zeustho maybe so, probably really busy, business tends to do that to 1 especially if you have no workers to do it for you( secretaries) still really smart design wish more products in the world are using simple concepts. It's like they want to overwhelm 1 with tech or info, too bad. In earlier history all they had was simple basic machines and look what was accomplished pyramids etc..

  • @Kilooscarromeo thx,, i dont think so , he havent open his account for two months,,maybe a building falled of on his head.

  • @zeustho Same as above. It's most likely really up to your medium such as ground ,dirt. A more compacted medium should increase mechanical advantage of this basic machine's structure. They will teach you that there are 5 basic machines.yadayada read up a little on basic machines such as levers, wedges, inclined planes etc.... You'll see it right away. Don't think this guy is going to answer you 2 months?

  • @buildingourhome Why couldn't you use it for heavier structures? It's a great design I've studied the concept & application of basic machines for 28 years. Very simple & that is what basic machines are because there is a triangle geomet shape, it's the strongest of geomet shapes in uno. Can go far into it's tech but, do you want to read it.

  • In the inspection part of the vid, looks like you have 15.25 ". If you are pushing the pipe in.

Dirt is going to be in the inside diameter of pipe, didn't see a cap.

Why are you measuring down? ,hits dirt. What should be the standard measure? What is the length of pipe? The triangle shape is the strongest geometrical shape ,so this is really smart, very easy. Why couldn't you apply the same concept with heavier structures?. EXCELLENT CONCEPT The strengh of basic machines. Who's design Love it

  • Is this only for decks, small load structures or are there larger ones for full size homes?

  • but i would ask you..... can we change the size of this foundation ,,increase it,, so as to bear a large load for example a multi-storey buildings or steel construction........or it is only working with wood construction system
