And that Freddy gets his power from the memory of him already has been done in Freddy vs Jason.

So I simply don't get the point of making this movie besides money, the same reason they make dance movie after dance movie.

@madhat1979 i actually thought they were pretty inventive with this, freddy might be innocent, micro naps, the fact that dean remembering what happened to him shot off the whole disaster... they never mention any of these things in the origininal. I especially like the fact that it tells how freddy is fueled by their memories, something more psychological and deep than 84's

@letthemrunfree He killed kids and burned them.. after that the parents burned him and buried him (in part3 u see where) and then in part 3 nancy sais to kids in mental house"you are the last kids of elm street" and freddy gonna kill you.. in part 3 too they bury hes bones on holy ground like the sister said.. and sister is amanda kruegers mom (amanda is freddys mom" sister said amanda was raped hundreds of times"
