This list is, of course, discussible. In my opinion, songs like Love Comes Tumbling and Deep in the Heart were made by U2 only to fill the B-sides and don't add that much to their career.

But undoubtfully Acrobat and Please are magnificent and injustly underrated.
There is another song that is one of my favourites and don't have the deserved attention: Unforgettable Fire.

Discussable? You!!! Haha, j/k.

As far as songs not adding anything to their career, I'm a lifelong fan, not a producer. Personally, I think One, Kite, Walk On, Stuck in a moment, et al., don't really do u2 justice. I love the Unforgettable Fire- was glad to see it live in Phoenix this tour. (Also on you tube) Cheers.
