This is our Maine Coon "Coonie" who is 5 and "Mimi" who is 3. We got Coonie as a kitten and found Mimi as a very small kitten in the middle of a highway...Coonie helped us make her feel welcomed and quickly became a mother figure for Mimi - She definitley wears the pants in this relationship!!

  • lovely..I myself have a maine coon also and 3 orange tabbies...yours are beautiful

  • Thanks! I could not imagine our lives without them, they are so special!

  • Having two friends that are veterinarians and hearing their health statistics of mixed breeds vs. 'pure breeds' is enough for me to choose mixed breed. Naturally, some breeds are susceptible to certain traits and or health problems - and those are widely published and easy to find to help figure out what works for your lifestyle.I guess I am a bit biased as I just do not understand or agree with "breeders" and the idea of "show dogs" something creeps me out about it - kind of like pageant kids

  • this is unbelievably cute!!! I love your cats! I`d like to get a maine coon as well, do you know where to get one?

  • Our Maine Coon is a mix breed that we just got from a friend's cat that had a litter. I would suggest finding one from a humane society - seems to me that mixed breeds have less health problems and they need homes! Thanks for sharing your cute kitty video!!

  • Cute cats. Hmmmm, is Mimi the orange cat? Orange female cats are very rare.

  • Yes, Mimi is the orange one.

  • I have 4 cats-all rescues and they all get along. People, please adopt more than 1 if you can. Every cat needs a buddy.

  • now that's a cat!!!

  • Yea, I have to agree with you there. I think that most people believe that having a pure bred pet means that their animal is physically 'better' than other animals. But still... I own a maine coon mix, and you have to admit there are very few cats as appealing as those big fuzzy teddy bears.

  • Cats have made an art form out of laying around.

  • i love Maine Coons

  • Pedigreed cats from reputable breeders have less health issues because they are monitored, kept inside, vaccinated and tested for issues which may be common in the breed. Although wonderful rescued cats have no history to fall back on and could have contracted any type of disease. My suggestion is to test and vaccinate! A genuine maine coon is a privilege and you know their heritage and lineage, and the health of the cat is guaranteed! I have 5 TICA registered MCs of and 2 rescue cats.

  • Adorable!
