I have the non-HD Ultravid 10x42's which I bought in the UK. I think that Leica in Europe should be looking at the warranty that they offer on these compared to other comparable manufacturers.... if Leica thinks this product is so good WHY does it ONLY offer a mega stingy 10 year warranty? That speaks absolute volumes about the trust Leica has in its own product. Compare Leica's warranty to say Nikons... its just embarrassing!
Makes me think that they are getting too many back for repairs :(

Well, calling these ED would be better. Fantastic binoculars, but the name HD is too commercial for my taste...
