She was given 3 warnings. The on-screen video before the movie plus the wait staff came by 2 times to tell her to stop. The third time the wait staff came by she was gone. I've been there when obnoxious people have been ejected previously. They are given full warning that their behavior is inappropriate. So no, she does not deserve her money back.

Alamo Draft House is the only Theater I go to anymore. Their attitude towards customers is the best I've ever experienced.

They didn't owe her a dime. Most of these places DO have warnings not to do that crap during the trailers/before the movie. But she was too busy texting to actually pay attention to it or probably the signs in the lobby that would say similar.

People like her deserve to be booted. I wonder if she'll learn. If not, she can move to the MSA instead of the USA.

No way should you get your money back. Otherwise people might decide after ten minutes they don't like the movie, and just start texting to get a refund.

The rules are VERY clear at Alamo, they show 3 big warnings before the movie, NO TALKING, NO PHONEs or you will get kicked out, no money back. The last warning literally says, SERIOUSLY, we will kick your ass out. Alamo Drafthouse is the only theater I go to and shows there sell out all the time. If customers act like asses and Alamo kicks them out, everyone in that theater is applauding. I LOVE that there is a place discerning movie-goers have that doesn't tolerate douche bags. Alamo RULES!

I disagree. I don't feel sorry for that drunkin' bitch at all. Everyone knows, you're not supposed to talk or text during a movie. It's advertised everywhere. If you need to talk or text, step outside or stay home. You definetly won't be missed. People who talk or text during a movie are just rude assholes. End of story.
