Climate Catastrophe Cancelled: What You're Not Being Told About the Science of Climate Change"

I have attached links to 5 videos in which climate experts demonstrate that science is quickly diverging away from the hypothesis that the human release of greenhouse gases, specifically carbon dioxide, is having an impact on global climate.

Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abd81S-Syzo (4:34)

Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPpH2ZF1r1c (6:21)

Part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQgdlK8cNj8 (3:26)

Part 4 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHRx1Mzgs4M (5:10)

Part 5 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMMIznd5m0M (5:02)

I created a webpage where you can watch all 5 videos back to back. Visit http://www.orbins.com/globalwarming/

IPCC assertions about the unprecedented nature of the past century's warming, or the widespread beliefs that we are experiencing an increase in extreme weather, accelerated sea level rise and unusual warming in polar regions are also shown in the video to be wholly without merit.

The idea for the videos was initiated by the Friends of Science Society, a registered not-for-profit group of geologists, environmental scientists and concerned citizens, in an effort to make the science of climate change available and understandable to the general public.

Additional:

"There is absolutely no convincing scientific evidence that human-produced greenhouse gases are driving global climate change", stated climatologist, Dr. Tim Ball. and He added that the Canadian government's plan to designate carbon dioxide as a "toxic" under CEPA is irresponsible and without scientific merit. "Carbon dioxide is a staff of life, plain and simple. It makes up less than 4% of greenhouse gases and it is not a toxic."

  • the rushie neocons will tell you that we are winning in iraq with half of their brains tied behind their backs ... they don't count the people killed in car bombs or people shot in the front ... only in the back ... and the latest counts show that we are winning with fewer people being killed ... it is just like what the do to global warming ... but i tell you it isn't helping the polar bears or the bees ... and i tell you ... the rushie neocons need to use the rest of their brains

  • AgnesBojaxhiu2000 comments have nothing to do with Global Warming. This in combination with the fact that there is zero accuracy to anything that you have written here makes you contribution worthless.

  • the rushie neocons will tell you that there isn't any global warming and nothing is happening ... but the bees are dying all over the country ... and they are moving into people houses ... i tell you they are only trying to get away from the global warming sun .. it is the only way because their old hives didn't provide the complete shade they need nowadays ... i have seen photos where the top of the bees are totally black ... hairless ... because of the sun .. it is killing them

  • Sorry if the facts don't support your apocalyptic exaggerations.

I can't stop you from believing nonsense about bees and bears. You have a right to believe whatever foolishness you desire.

  • Ha! Talking bout facts and posting this nonsense, thats rich!

  • Do you have anything specific that you can show is incorrect or is your comment purely an attack on something that tears down your inaccurate views on our climate?

  • Another thing to consider is that sunspot minima generally account for less than half of the historical changes in global temperature. This to me means that we are having a discernible impact on the climate.

  • While I admire your environmental ethics, I should think the length of the nearly unabated trend, combined with its unprecedented magnitude, would obviate anthropogenic global warming. From my standpoint it's nothing to "buy into" as such, but rather a harsh reality we all have to face. Pumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere as we do means that more of the Sun's rays will be trapped in the atmosphere, thereby heating the Earth.

  • 50 years, 200 years, 1000 years, it's all a blink of an eye in the lifetime of a planet.

But whatever, if you're sold on AGW, then i can't stop you.

Anyway, I don't disagree with reducing dependence on fossil fuels. I agree with polluting as little as possible, and to stop destroying forests. But I definitely don't agree that humans are altering the planets weather, temperature, and ocean levels.

  • @LDRinbrampton

I actually mean the 200-year warming trend which has accelerated in the past 60 years due to the population growth spurt during the Baby Boom. Everyone wanted their piece of the American Dream, and all those factories churning out products en masse and all those fuel-inefficient cars burning fossil fuels en masse took their toll.

  • What "warming trend"?

You mean a 50 year trend in a planet billions of years old?

That's the equivalent of a human lifetime stating it is hotter now than it was an hour ago. Nice try tho.

  • As for the "medieval warm period," it was short-lived relative to the current warming trend which, apart from brief reprieves such as the oil crisis of the 1970s, has simply not abated. Again, I point out that even during the "medieval warm period," the amount of carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere did not exceed 300 parts per million as they do now. I take this as conclusive proof that we ARE having a significant effect on temperatures.

  • They don't have records from that far back, so such a claim is erroneous at best, misleading and dangerous at worst. The ice core records go back 650,000 years at the earliest, and during that time, at no point in history did atmospheric carbon dioxide levels exceed 300 parts per million until the 1850s, and they have exceeded that level since then.

  • This video just pointed out the fact that CO2 levels were MUCH higher in prehistoric times.

  • I hate humans too, but not because of carbon emissions.
