I hope this is not irreverent or in the least disrespectful, but I have never seen anyone enjoy dying as much as Ms Flemming, it is so gloriously over the top, ITS OPERA! Spectacular, especially for someone dying of consumption!!! I love it....

Wonderful singing and a very expressive, fragile interpretation. Dramatically she's very extroverted, but, mind you, many great and committed interpreters like Ponselle and Albanese were even more so. I like the contrasts between the sweet middle and the thrilling low notes.
