This is a Power Records episode of The Six Million Dollar Man from 1977. I believe these children's record adaptations were based on actual episodes from the TV series. This episode is from a book & record set that contained a 12 inch 33 1/3 rpm record and comic book.

  • These recordings, like most kids records failed to contain any liner notes. The voices throughout the power records series were all the same.

  • @vinylrecord68 Thanks for the info on the voice actors. It's rare stuff!!

  • @satanmacnuggit I think Mike McNally was the voice of Rudy Wells, and Elliot Lewis as Steve Austin. Don Wescott was the narrator, as he did on several albums for Peter Pan / Power Records.

  • No doubt in my mind that Rusty Venture's very short brother was voiced in tribute to whoever is doing Steve Austin. Dying to know who!

  • This is very interesting. I knew of these records when I was a kid from my friends who had them, but I never got a chance to hear them. Thanks for posting!

I wonder who the actor(s) is(are) portraying Oscar Goldman, Rudy Wells, and Steve Austin. What do the liner notes on the LP say?
