There weren't many times the tables were turned on Tim Conway, but in this classic exception Steve Lawrence reduced him to blithers as he wrings every ounce of subtext from the material...

  • Thanks for leaving the sponsor tag & network promo at the end for us to see; I always enjoy watching shows a lot more with the original commercials in them!

  • Lol! Greatness!

  • Brilliant! I think I was 14 when this CB episode aired and we got to see both this wacky, up for grabs dress rehearsal and the (slightly) more deadpan official version. Still can't be sure which one made me laugh harder. Oh, and thanks for the nostalgia at the end--I remember well those Kraft "Good food, and good food idea" commercial breaks. Fun!

  • It was just as funny now as it was then. How times have changed. Thank you!!!

  • I was 9 years old. THANK GOD.

  • More Steve Lawrence.

  • Carol looks like she's drunk.

  • Well Harvey is getting his giggles in...but this one is all Tim! Talk about getting hoisted by one's own petard.
