Firstly, Nas is a hip-hop legend. Enough said!
Secondly, slavery is not about racism, it's about business. Slavery back in the days can be compared to cattle (cow) owners today. The freedom of the slave/cattle is denied in exchange of some kind of product (milk, meat) or production (labor). There has been white slaves, black slaves, yellow slaves, etc.
If you look at it one way, most farm owners are slave masters. However, I doubt we'll see any change in that unless the animals learn to speak.
