It's a lot easier to harshly judge people after the fact. Empathy requires one to realize that they might have done the same, or worse, than these accused. What if Nazi forces were fighting in St. Louis Missouri and heading for Chicago? As an American you may choose to fight in an atrocious manner. When it's in your own country it changes your psyche towards you enemy and life itself. War is hell and it changes people. Never judge individuals too harshly during wartime.

3 million german civilians killed during their retreat and after 1945, and 4 million women raped by judeo-mongoloid soldiers of the red army.... but the german people survived and build a new germany...the only problem is the negro-turkic-islamic invasion
