Thanks to everyone who's posted with their support and encouragement. I wasn't expecting that response! I thought there might be some Nazi Nannies on the war path after seeing this vid. I'm sure they wouldn't like to see a legal smoking pub in operation even though it makes absolutely no difference to them. Thanks for your support - and thanks for subscribing.

I only hope some sort of amendment can be reached before we lose all our traditional pubs (not these plasticky family carveries we have now which make McDonalds look atmospheric).

Since we made this video a year ago we're up to 50/60 pubs a week closing in October 2009. The nannies don't care because they never used traditional 'wet' pubs anyway. They're too busy building careers bossing people about.

I totally agree especially with the statement about how we'd have more of an understanding of the ban if they just admitted that they hate smokers. Blimey, we know it's bad for us, and we don't purposefully blow smoke in non smokers faces! Why can't there be a place for us smokers? Make both parties happy? But no, all it ever is, is snobbish remarks and filthy looks, like you're sub-human and deserve no respect. Smoking ban? = Whatever. People who treat you like shit for smoking = ZERO TOLERENCE
